RichezAssociés perpetuates and strengthens its presence in Occitania with the acquisition of COT, local practice renowned for public spaces, urban design and building projects in the Toulouse region. Handing over the management, Erwan Marin founder of COT will support RichezAssociés with his experience to facilitate its development in the region. This venture is reinforced by the alignment of the values of the two practices and their shared vision of city and landscape design - a commitment, an assumed collective responsibility.

Since 2012, the COT practice has built a solid portfolio due to its interdisciplinary approach to urban design, landscape and architecture. Through commissions with major local clients, it has acquired multidisciplinary experience in urban design, from the production of master plans and strategic plans to the landscaping and architectural design of public spaces and the coordination of building projects of different scales. Today, the COT undertakes several commissions as urban planner and development coordinator of neighbourhoods, including public spaces. In particular, COT works on the design of public spaces for the ANRU Val D'Aran project in Colomiers, as landscape architect on the ZAC Saint-Martin du Touch in Toulouse, the ZAC Picquepeyre in Fenouillet and the ZAC Ferro Lebres in Tournefeuille. The projects are developed with sensitive landscape and urban design which work on city limits, promotes soft circulation, retains and develops existing trees.

Since 1985, RichezAssociés design buildings, neighbourhoods, public spaces and transportation systems. Its 120 architects, planners and landscape architects work together for the world of tomorrow, mastering and combining through their knowledge and experience, the 4 disciplines of environmental transition: they design low-impact buildings, sustainable neighbourhoods, landscapes rich in biodiversity and low-carbon transportation systems. Internationally recognised, RichezAssociés now plays a leading role in the Occitan architectural scene. In addition to 20 years of housing and development projects in Montpellier and Mauguio in the Toulouse metropolitan area, RichezAssociés designs 4 stations on the 3rd metro line currently under construction, provides architectural coordination and delivered a neighbourhood car park structure at the Cartoucherie. RichezAssociés also designed the tramway link to Blagnac Airport and built an office and housing estate in Balma.

Development of the COT practice will enable Richez_Associés to develop its activity long term in Occitania and to bring its specific skills closer to the sites for the benefit of communities, private clients and developers.

A graduate from ENSA Toulouse, Fabrice gained experience in well-known Toulouse practices; Sutter Taillandier and Norbert Etilé. At Kardham since 2008, Fabrice distinguished himself for his rigorous management of complex large-scale projects and the detailed analysis of programme and functional constraints. Among the projects, he coordinated the l’Institut Universitaire du Cancer de Toulouse Oncopôle, the Maison de la Réussite en License and construction of Campus Numérique Place de l’Europe, Toulouse.

Fabrice joined Richez_Associés in 2023 to manage and develop the Occitania practice in Toulouse.
